I admit it, when it comes to driving directions I could use some help. Unlike my husband, who would rather drive in circles confident that he would eventually hit his destination, I will stop and ask for directions. But, stopping takes time, something that is in limited supply, since I habitually run late. Then there are those times when there is no gas station, police station or restaurant in sight so stopping to ask for directions isn't always so easy. I've tried fumbling with an unwieldy map but it only manages to add to my frustration. What I needed was a better way to get directions while driving. Not lost? Play music. Since the proprietary navigation maps on your AudioNav come in the form of discs, you can chose the discs specific to the geographic area you are traveling in. That also means that this affordable navigation system can read CDs. When it isn't giving you directions, it can play your favorite music CDs; a feature I especially liked since my car didn't have a CD player. Now I can grab a CD from home and enjoy it while I drive. No buttons to push either. I just tell it to play. No foldout map ever talked to me.
